This granite statue, referred to as "Tedyuscung," was erected in Wissahicken Woods in 1902 as a tribute to the Lenni Lenape Indians. Willian Penn gave the Lenape a sum of money to withdraw from the Germantown area so the settlers could claim their land lots.
